Bulk Import Products

Adding products one at a time can be time-consuming when you are setting up your inventory, especially if your business has a large number of products. Savetime Calculator POS makes this easier with Bulk Product Import, allowing you to add many products at once using a downloadable product template.

Download the Product Template

Before importing your products, download the official Savetime Product Import Template provided in the POS.

The template contains the columns needed for the system to correctly identify and create your products. Using the provided template helps ensure that your information is entered in the format required by the system.

Fill in Your Products

Open the downloaded template using a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or another program that supports CSV files.

Enter your product information in the appropriate columns.

Each row should contain the details for one product. Take care to enter the information correctly and follow the format used in the template.

Do not change the column headings or rearrange the columns, as these are used by the system when processing your upload.

Save the Completed Template

Once you have entered all your products, save the file in CSV format.

Before uploading, it is a good idea to review the file and check that:

• Product names are entered correctly.
• Prices and quantities are accurate.
• Required fields have been completed.
• There are no unnecessary blank rows.
• The column headings have not been changed.

Upload Your Products

Return to the Bulk Product Import section in your POS and select the completed CSV file.

Click Upload to submit the file.

The system will process the information in the template and add the products to your inventory.

Once the import is complete, review your product list to confirm that the products have been added correctly.
