Savetime allows your clients to view their own account information and statements through the Client Portal.
This means your clients do not always have to contact your institution to ask about their payments or outstanding amounts. Once their Client Portal account has been created, they can log in themselves and check their account whenever they need to.
This can be particularly useful for schools, estates, groups, and other institutions that manage many clients.
The institution must first have the client’s details in the Savetime system.
In particular, the client should use the same phone number that the institution entered when creating the client’s account.
This allows Savetime to connect the Client Portal account with the correct client record.
If the client uses a different phone number, the system may not be able to identify the correct account.
The client should visit:
For easier access in future, the client can also install the Savetime App when the installation prompt appears.
This is especially useful for clients who expect to check their account regularly over a long period.
At the top-right corner of the website, click:
This takes the client to the Savetime access page.
On the access page, select:
Client Portal
The Client Portal is specifically for clients who want to access their own account information.
If the client has not created an account before, follow the instructions provided to create one.
The client will need to use the phone number that was provided to the institution and entered into the client’s Savetime account.
The client will also create a password for their Client Portal account.
Make sure the phone number is entered correctly.
After creating the account, the client can return to:
Log In ā Client Portal
and enter their Client Portal login details.
Once successfully logged in, they can access their account information.
The Client Portal allows the client to view their account status and payment information recorded by the institution.
This gives clients a convenient way to check whether their payments have been recorded correctly and to keep track of their account.
Clients can also view their statement through the Client Portal.
The statement provides a record of their account activity and can be printed when needed.
This can be useful when a client needs a record of payments made to the institution.
The Client Portal gives clients more direct access to their account information.
Instead of contacting the institution every time they want to check their payment status, they can log in and review their information themselves.
For institutions with many clients, this can also reduce the number of routine enquiries about payments and outstanding balances.
The phone number used by the client when creating their Client Portal account must match the phone number recorded by the institution.
If a client changes their phone number, they should contact the institution so that their client record can be updated where appropriate.
If a client expects to use the Client Portal regularly, they may find it convenient to install the Savetime App on their device.
This can be particularly useful for:
Once installed, the app provides an easier way to return to Savetime whenever the client needs to check their account.
A parent has a child attending a school that uses Savetime to manage school payments.
The school has already entered the parent’s phone number in the student’s client account.
The parent can:
The parent can then return to the Client Portal whenever they want to check their account.
If you manage an institution using Savetime, you can let your clients know that they can access their account information through the Client Portal.
Make sure the client’s phone number is entered correctly when creating their client record.
This is particularly important because the phone number connects the client’s Client Portal account to their account in your institution’s records.
