Once you have signed up and logged in, you are ready to enter your data. It’s important to know the way around as follows:
1. Enter your reason for using the calculator at the ‘Enter Purpose’ placeholder. It could be something like ‘May 2025 income and expense for XYZ,’ ‘Bob’s medical fundraiser,’ or anything else. Click the ‘Save Purpose’ button to save it.
2. Choose your saved purpose at the ‘Select Purpose’ dropdown.
NB: You have to choose the purpose before proceeding to enter transactions.
3. Enter transactions at the ‘Add Transaction’ section. Take note of the dropdown for Received/Paid which you will switch according to whether the entered transaction is an income or expense. Click the ‘Add Transaction’ button for it to reflect in the ‘Transaction History’ section. Repeat the process as desired.
As you do this, you will realize that the figures in the ‘Totals’ section change accordingly.
1. You can handle different purposes. Simply enter another purpose at the ‘Enter Purpose’ placeholder and click the ‘Save Purpose’ button. You will find that purpose listed at the ‘Select Purpose’ dropdown.
NB: Switch between purposes to handle each purpose independently.
2. Once you are done with a specific purpose and you do not need it anymore, use the ‘Delete Purpose’ button to delete it. Be careful not to delete a purpose you are still interested in as you won’t be able to recover data once deleted. Carefully select the correct purpose at the ‘Select Purpose’ dropdown.
3. In case you’d like to change the purpose name, for example from ‘May income and expense’ to ‘June income and expense,’ select the purpose from the ‘Select Purpose’ dropdown. Click the ‘Update Purpose’ button. Enter the new title and click ‘Save Updated Purpose’.
NB: The change will reflect immediately. Click the ‘Select Purpose’ dropdown to confirm.
4. Use the search bar, below the ‘Transaction History’ title, to search for any transaction by name, amount, received/paid, or the date.
5. You can edit a transaction by clicking the ‘Edit’ button against that transaction. The contents will be lodged in the ‘Add Transaction’ section. Scroll down, or use the arrows at the bottom right corner to get to the section, just in case your list is long. Amend your entries as desired and click ‘Update Transaction’.
6. You can delete a transaction by clicking the ‘Delete’ button against it and following the prompts.
At the bottommost, you will find the following buttons:
Save Entries - Always click it to ensure you save your entries. Please note, you cannot edit or delete a transaction you have not saved. You’ll need to first save it, then edit or delete it.
Share on WhatsApp - It’s relevant for those who are working on transactions that need to be seen by others. Example businesses, groups, or fundraisers. Just click the button and share it to the relevant group or persons.
Share as Link - This is a replica of the ‘Share on WhatsApp button but helpful for those who would like to see the transactions as they were entered, especially for doubting thomases. Remember, the direct Share on WhatsApp is editable. So this option serves to erase doubts.
Download CSV - This is useful once you have finally finished working on a specific purpose and would like to keep or share a CSV file for everyones perusal or just for keeping.
Avatar - Find this at the top right corner. This button leads you to other relevant pages. Click it to access the other pages.
Profile - You can change your avatar, and other details via this link. You can also delete your account via this link. Remember deleting the account deletes all details that pertain to it.
Change Password - At the bottom of the profile page, you’ll find a provision to change your password.
Dashboard - This is your personal space where you get to see the details of your plan. You also upgrade your plan from your dashboard. There are other useful links at the bottom of this page (FAQ, Support Forum, Contact, Terms of Service).
FAQ - This is where you find answers to the frequently asked questions.
Support Forum - Share your experiences and get answers from other users.
Contact - Reach us directly via this link.
Terms of Service - Useful information to help you understand your affiliation to this tool.
Logout - Remember you can access your account from any device. It’s important to log out expecially when using a public device. Otherwise, you get logged out after a period of inactivity.
